General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Delivery and Payment of EquiDesign
Article 1 – General definitions
In these terms and conditions the following terms shall have the following meanings:
Client: A natural person or legal entity that commissions EquiDesign to perform work/services.
Article 2 – The Agreement

The agreement is concluded after the measurement form has been signed and the customer has paid the deposit due.

Buy custom-made riding boots
After measuring, EquiDesign will issue an order confirmation. The agreement is finalized once 100% of the amount due has been paid.

Buying all other items outside the webshop
The agreement is concluded once the customer has ordered the items and paid a 100% deposit.
Article 3 – Reflection period
The statutory terms apply to all our services and ordered products, except for custom-made products and boots.
You have a 14-day cooling-off period for all products ordered from the webshop. This cooling-off period begins after you receive the products. Note: this does not apply to custom-made and customized products.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, you can notify us via our webshop within 14 days of receiving the goods. You will then receive return instructions. Products must be unused and returned in their original packaging.
Once EquiDesign receives the products in unused and pristine condition, the customer will be refunded the amount paid as soon as possible. Any shipping costs will also be reimbursed.
The cooling-off period never applies to custom-made products, including custom-made boots. Therefore, you cannot exercise your right of withdrawal.
Article 4 – Compliance periods
The delivery dates are approximate only and are not binding. Failure to meet these deadlines does not entitle the client to compensation or termination of the agreement.
Article 5 – Execution of the work
EquiDesign will carry out the assignment properly and carefully, will represent the client's interests to the best of its knowledge and ability, and will carry out the work in compliance with legal requirements.
Article 6 – Warranty Boots and Jodphers
For consumer products like riding boots and jodhpurs, it's difficult to determine how long they should last or how colorfast they will remain. This depends on use and care. You have a 60-day warranty against color variation, tears, and stitching.
Despite this limited warranty, EquiDesign will always do its best to resolve any issues with your boots and/or jodhpurs. Should the size unexpectedly be incorrect, we will correct it once. Please note: the fit guarantee on riding boots is valid for 30 days after we receive the boots from the workshop.
Article 7 – Applicable law
All offers, quotations and agreements with EquiDesign are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
Article 8 – Amendment, explanation and location
The most recently filed version or the version applicable at the time the agreement was concluded always applies.
